Wedding in Clontibret and onto The Glencarn Hotel Castleblaney

The Glencarn Hotel never ceases to amaze me, the Wedding Dinner was a Fantastic Buffet it looked magnificent almost good enough to eat, I know if your thinking of getting married you should consider the Buffet option. for me I think it is a really nice change and just lovely. The Priest whos name eludes me even though ive done quite a few weddings with him can tell jokes like a seasoned comedian he kept the wedding party going during the mass and after at the reception. The Bride and Groom where a lovely couple and really easy going, There was no sign of nerves from either of them and they breezed through the whole day like it was part of there normal daily routine...
The wedding car was a Daimler Majestic in white and the only reason I can remember its name is that I crashed one once.... Ill not go into to much detail about that... any way heres a few images from their Day.....

Wedding in Ballymcnab and onto the Hillgrove Hotel in Monaghan

I think you could say some weddings are really laid back affairs the Bride and Groom where at ease every step of the way... Katherine looked radiant in her beautiful dress, she had such an infectious smile when she smiled everyone just smiled with her... It made for great photographs.. The service was conducted by Fr Oniell from Ballymcnab and Fr Moore from Middletown they both made the service just that little bit more special with the usual mix of humor just to keep things going... The reception venue again added the final pieces to the wedding and Kimberly and her staff provided an excellent meal, Tony Canon and his band provided the music for the evening his saxophone playing is just first class... Bride and Groom are off to Mauritius for their Honeymoon I hope they have a great time.... Plenty of Sun, Sea & Sand... Heres a few images from the day....

Wedding In Kilmainemwood and then onto Cabra Castle

I love a good wedding..... And this one didn't let me down, the Bride and Groom arrived from London on Thursday to beautiful sunshine and the promise of a great All Ireland Final in the Hurling (Brides Farther was from Tipp)..... Well all went particularly well and Tipparary won the game... just to put some icing an A very beautiful cake indeed. The brides father was first up to make his speech and i can honestly say i have never in my life heard a better speech by anyone... This was the ultimate wedding speech it had everything Humor,Passion,Sadness... there wasn't a dry eye in the house it was truly magnificent.. The Groom had many friends and relatives over from England
and they seemed to be having a great time, the food and service at Cabra Castle is without doubt first class, everything was just perfect and Siobhan looked amazing in her fabulous dress, it was just so heavy made from lace and crystal i think(Not really that good with dress descriptions) Here are some images from their day...

Wedding in Monaghan Cathedral and then over to the Hillgrove Hotel

Another great day out... This is the biggest bridal party I`ve had all year 6 Bridesmaids and 6 Groomsmen just to take a shot of the shoes at the brides house took two people to carry them.... and size didn't stop there the largest group shot of the year came pretty soon after, the entire congregation on the steps of Monaghan Cathedral and it was huge, Id have to say if you want an easy life or are a little challenged when it comes to asserting yourself then large groups arnt the place to start learning... The Rain stayed away and we took a spin out too Rossmoore Park for some photographs, on arrival I found fishermen had set up camp right where I was going to take the bridal party images I hope they caught something worthwhile.... The lady s did a great job managing the grass in the high heels. The Bride & Groom where off to Bali for their honeymoon I hope they have a great time there... Heres just a couple of images from the day...

Wedding in Armagh Cathedral and onto the Armagh City Hotel

You have to run out of luck sometime.... It rained just as we where about to start the photographs at the Armagh observatory.... and everyone headed straight back to the Hotel for some needed refreshments It take`s occasions like this to create photo opportunities and makes you think twice as hard and results in more creativity but its difficult. The day began with the Bride getting ready at home she had everything meticulously organized flowers, jewelry, perfume, hair, makeup, Nothing was left to chance. The Cathedral is an amazing place to get married and as Fr Rory said "its just a great place to work" Id have to agree with that... We even had American tourists to entertain us during the groups at the alter... Like ants with cameras.... The Hotel again didnt dissapoint with a great dinner served right on time... The Band where something else The James Peake Experience.. it certainly was.... I think there may have been 7 of them blasting out all the big tunes any way it was another great day out with some lovley people here some images.

Wedding in Emyvale and onto Corrick House Hotel

Yet another humbling experience, its a real pleasure to be invited to play a part in a couples wedding it never ceases to amaze me that after so long I still feel this way. Its this feeling that Drives me throughout the whole day.. This wedding was no exception, The Bride and Groom had previously been for engagement photos with me and its a great opportunity to establish a rapport with them before the wedding this really pays dividends, The whole bridal party looked stunning, The Brides Farther was Tony Cannon a great showband member of the 70s who played saxophone beautifully during the ceremony and later with the his Band during the evening even the Grooms nephew Tim sang at both venues Tim is entering X Factor and has a great voice. Anyway the day was just great and Corrick House having been lavishly redeveloped proved to be a great reception venue as it always has been... A Few images of the day....
