Wedding in Emyvale and onto Corrick House Hotel

Yet another humbling experience, its a real pleasure to be invited to play a part in a couples wedding it never ceases to amaze me that after so long I still feel this way. Its this feeling that Drives me throughout the whole day.. This wedding was no exception, The Bride and Groom had previously been for engagement photos with me and its a great opportunity to establish a rapport with them before the wedding this really pays dividends, The whole bridal party looked stunning, The Brides Farther was Tony Cannon a great showband member of the 70s who played saxophone beautifully during the ceremony and later with the his Band during the evening even the Grooms nephew Tim sang at both venues Tim is entering X Factor and has a great voice. Anyway the day was just great and Corrick House having been lavishly redeveloped proved to be a great reception venue as it always has been... A Few images of the day....

Wedding in St Malachys Armagh and onto the Armagh City Hotel

We dont need rain for a Wedding, but we got it for this one, it lashed down in the morning and for the arrival at the chapel but just as we had to venture outside after the service it cleared up a little, Not taking any chances we did the groups inside. A short hop over to the palace stables saw us start the photography in near blue sky`s and fluffy white clouds... Unfortunately the rain left for a mucky floor and limited the amount of grass work we could do (not good for the high heels) and mine where killing me!!! The food at The hotel was outstanding a great improvement from past experiences, the Bride and Groom where honeymooning in Cuba Heres some of the images from their day.

Wedding in Coonian and onto Lusty Beg Island

I have said it before, It really is a privilege to be at a joining of two people so well matched and so in love. This wedding was the epitome of this I felt humbled to be part of it... The rain stayed away for most of the day but this still didn't mean were not going to get wet. As we boarded the ferry to cross to Lusty Beg Island the vessel started to take on water and I thought all was lost until they took a car off to lessen the weight. A crossing was then made and I for one was glad to see terra firma again... Lusty Beg is a great wedding venue great food and a great and relaxed atmostfear heres some images from their day, with kind regards to the Bride and Groom.

She was such a beautiful looking bride and an absolute joy to photograph. The location and both the Bride & Groom where great and we all could have kept going with the photo-shoot till darkness they where so easy to work with and nothing was too much trouble for them or the bridal party...

Wedding in Killilea and onto the Killyhevlin

Yet another fine day in June and such a lovely couple tying the knot
the groom must have been 6"6 and the bride looked radiant in her
lace dress. The wedding was such a moving experience as we visited
an aunt on the way to the reception venue she was too ill to attend
the wedding, the aunt was obviously delighted to see us as we arrived
and was able to meet us outside in the brilliant sunshine.

Wedding in Castleblaney and onto the Errigal Hotel

Its been an incredibly busy year and I cant believe its almost a year since I last updated my blog... and what a start....... The weather was absolutely terrific we had photographs at the new Concra Wood Golf Resort on the outskirts of Castleblaney over looking Lough Muckno. In difficult condition because of the bright sunlight and sparse shade we where able to capture some beautiful images. Concra Wood Club House could be a possible new venue for small to medium size weddings they have great facilities there... anyway heres some pictures of the Bride she looked fantastic....

Wedding In Keady and onto Carrickmacross Nurmore Hotel

The Weather didn't let us down, the rain stayed away and we had a great opportunity to get some lovely photographs of the day. Keady Chapel was decked out in beautiful flowers and the whole wedding party looked just fantastic. The bride and groom left the chapel in a cream horse drawn carriage.. there`s something about horses that makes the day that little bit more precious when it come to the images and the whole feeling of a wedding, The bride and groom are jetting off to tour America for there honeymoon I hope they have a great time... anyway just a few images from their day here for you to look at...

Middletown Wedding and then onto the Killyhevlin

Thank goodness a bit of sunshine at last and a ray of hope for the summer, fingers crossed. The Bride and Groom must have synchronized there watches for this wedding as they arrived seconds apart, it was a bit special as I knew a lot of the guests and have known the groom for years... Ciara looked stunning in her bridal gown and the mix of colour with the bridesmaids and the backdrop of lough Erne it was easy to get a great mix of images to work with, even the brides Granny had a fabulous house a real true traditional Irish farm house whitewashed walls and all. I would have loved to have stayed longer as it was pretty special... I might return to get a few snaps just of the house.. The best man was a local publican and professional wedding guest, he seems to be at most weddings in some guise or other he even had ideas about the photography and poses etc etc, all in all a great
day out heres a few pics and a special one for Vincent from one of his ideas...

WRC Rally Ireland 2009

Just had the wettest and coldest weekend of my life, all for the sake of a few pics of the 2008 World Rally Champion Sebastian Loeb, now winner of Rally Ireland, the First race in the 2009 WRC Rally season... It just shows the World that great things can be achived here in Ireland, the event was maticulously organised and Rally Ireland was a resounding success here`s some images, A bit of a detour from my normal line of business and a great challenge, its always necessary to remove yourself from your comfort zone once in a while and this weekend certainly didnt let me down in that respect!!!!
